The book With: Reimagining the Way You Relate to God by Skye Jethani attempts to cut through the clutter of Evangelical rhetoric and vernacular. The author rather effectively accomplishes this lofty goal by encouraging readers to experience a different vantage point on Christianity. Moreover, the author offers four different “mindsets” individuals typically have in regards to Christianity. However, thankfully the author also offers a 5^th major mindset to readers. According to the author, this 5^th major mindset is something which has become lost amongst the current approaches of typical American Evangelical churches. This book is a fairly quick read, with two accompanying appendices which contain a tremendous amount of application points and further recommendations. If an individual is feeling burned out by modern day religion, or if someone wants to know the basic elements of Christianity this would be a tremendously helpful book to read.
